Professor Salem Al-Rawashdeh is a distinguished Jordanian law professor, esteemed attorney, and respected author of numerous legal publications, born in Al-Karak, Jordan.
Professor Al-Rawashdeh pursued his legal studies at the University of Jordan, earning his Bachelor's degree in Law in 1986. He furthered his education at Al al-Bayt University, obtaining a Master's degree in Private Law (Civil Law) in 1998. His academic journey culminated in a PhD in Private Law (Civil Law) from the Faculty of Graduate Legal Studies at Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies in 2008.
Professor Al-Rawashdeh is the founder and Chief Senior Counsel of Rawashdeh & Partners, a premier law firm based in Amman, Jordan. Since establishing the firm in 2002, he has specialized in consultations and cases related to Social Security Law, Labor Law, and Military Retirement Law. His extensive legal career began with his service in the Jordanian Armed Forces from 1972 to 2000, where he rose to the rank of Brigadier General Administration. He gained practical experience in applying the Social Security Law and the Jordanian Labor Law to civilian employees within the Jordanian Armed Forces and served in various significant legal advisory roles.
In addition to his military and legal practice, Professor Al-Rawashdeh served as a Legal Consultant for the Bahrain Ministry of Defence for ten years, providing expert legal advice and support. His academic contributions are equally notable, having served as a Professor of Civil Law at several prestigious universities in Bahrain, where he influenced and mentored countless students.
